Their name came from the Japanese Buddhist edition of Shangri-La, a place where viola tricolor reigned and cultures converged -- an reserve cognomen for a mathematical chemical group that sought to make a standardized peaceful converging in euphony. Their debut album, Petition, consisted around altogether of sutras -- Buddhist chants, some of which were over yard years old -- that were chanted by monks and filled out by synth-dance flap generation conjured up on respective instruments.
